Hope Charity Golf Outing

The first Hope Charity Golf Outing in Memory of Trevor Vautaw took place on August 2nd, 2015 at Fox Prairie Golf Course in Noblesville, Indiana.

Trevor was born in Indianapolis and raised in Noblesville. He loved the game of golf and started playing at an early age. He played on the Noblesville Middle School and High School teams while coached by PGA Pro Gary Deakyne. Gary is currently the Pro at Forest Park and Fox Prairie Golf Course. During the summer months, Trevor was involved in the Pepsi Junior Tournaments around the State. After graduating from NHS in 2009, Trevor attended Indiana State University. It was then that his drug use escalated. He desired desperately to be clean and went through three rehab programs. During one, he came to know the Lord. Trevor continued to battle the disease. The last rehab was a program in Azle, Texas in 2013. The Trevor everyone knew and loved was back with his family over the Fourth of July week. On August 2, 2013, Trevor died from an overdose while in Texas. Prior to leaving for the final rehab, Trevor started a weekly family bible study. We continue to meet and we have full assurance that Trevor is now free from the bondage of addiction and is with our Savior.

Hope and OVERcoming, Inc. can't thank the Vautaw Family and the entire community enough to raising awareness to the disease of addiction and supporting HOH tremendously.
